  • All the washing symbols on your clothing labels clearly explained!
    To avoid damaging your laundry during washing or ironing, please follow the instructions given by each washing symbol on the label.

    Do you have any doubts about a symbol on a garment label?
    With this overview, everything becomes simple and clear. These symbols indicate the type of wash and the recommended temperature.

    95° Wash at a maximum of 95 °C, normal programme.
    95° Wash at a maximum of 95 °C, delicate or easy-care programme.
    60° Wash at a maximum of 60 °C, normal programme.

    40° Wash at a maximum of 40 °C, normal programme.
    40° Wash at a maximum of 40 °C, delicate or easy-care programme.

    30° Wash at a maximum of 30 °C, delicate or easy-care programme.

    The garment must not be washed and may only be dry cleaned.

    Drying:

    Choose the delicate tumble-dryer programme.
    Choose the normal tumble-dryer programme.
    Do not tumble dry.

  • Tips for understanding shoe labels
    These symbols indicate the type of material used.

    Upper: The upper part of the shoe, corresponding to the outer surface of the structural element attached to the outsole.

    Lining + insole: The inside of the shoe, including the lining of the upper and the insole.

    Outsole: The outer sole refers to the external part of the footwear item, subject to wear through abrasion.

    Leather: Animal skin that has retained its original fibrous structure more or less intact and has been tanned to ensure durability. Any coating or laminated layer must not exceed 0.15 mm.

    Coated leather: Product in which the thickness of the coating or laminate does not exceed one third of the total thickness of the product and is greater than 0.15 mm.

    Textile: Products covered by Directive 73/307/EEC, as amended (textiles of any fibre type: cotton, silk, nylon, viscose, etc.).

    Other material: All materials that do not fall into the three categories mentioned above.
